Can't get a thread dump via web console

When I try to get a thread dump via the web console, I get this:

Selected Process: GDesktopDriver.exe ( theAwtToolkitWindow ) 10744

The parameter is incorrect.

Thread dump failed.

Same thing happens if I try to do it via the GUI.

Further experimentation shows that I can get a stack trace of the StackTrace process, but not any other process (they're in the same session).

This is a Windows error message. It is usually reported when using a nonexistent process ID.

It is hard to tell more from the information you have provided.
What is the tool version? Your OS? 32 or 64 bit?
DebugView log can also help.
